Insider is Seeking Pitches on Your Disaster Honeymoon

Insider is a website that shares all the adventures that life has to offer. Their senior lifestyle editor is seeking pitches for essays about a disaster honeymoon. Rates start at $200. To learn more read this Tweet.

Eater Atlanta is Seeking Pitches for January/February

 Eater is a national publication that covers the world of food and drink, with particular emphasis on restaurants. They are currently seeking pitches for articles to be published in January and February in their Atlanta section. To learn more, read this page. The Maple is Open to Opinion Pieces

 The Maple is a 100% reader-funded publication featuring Canadian news and perspectives that challenge the status quo. The opinion editor of The Maple is open to opinion pieces, which you can submit via Twitter/X DM or via email.  Rates: news stories (usually 1,500 words) pay $275 CAD, shorter opinion pieces (700-1,200 words) pay $130 CAD, and more in-depth analysis articles (1,500-2,000 words) pay $325 CAD. Inverse is Seeking pItches on TV, Film Gaming, Science, or Tech

Inverse covers science, innovation, entertainment, gaming, and the mind and body. Their executive editor is seeking pitches on TV, Film, Gaming, Science or Tech. According to his tweet, he’s offering to pay “$1000 for a deeply reported feature with multiple sources and a well-written narrative. For single interviews, rates range from $250-$500 depending on the source. Rainbow Rodeo is a print publication about queer country music. If you’re interested in writing about queer country music then add your name to their mailing list. New Scientist is Seeking Space News Stories

New Scientist is a weekly science and technology magazine. Their deputy US editor is looking for pitches for space news stories. Polyester is Looking for Pitches

Polyester is an intersectional feminist fashion and culture zine. They’re seeking “deep dives on pop culture and internet trends as well as niche personal essays.” They pay £50 for 1,000 words. Insider is Seeking Pitches about Inheritance

Insider’s associate editor (freelance desk) is looking for pitches about inheritance: “I’d love the ‘living gift’ of pitches about inheritance. Sources and writers pitch me stories about the blessings and curses of inheriting wealth, property, weird antiques –  blowing it all, or living off the money for a lifetime.” As per this pitch guide, their rates usually begin at £250 or $320 for personal essays and £270 or $350 for single interviews.
