Summoning Circle Press is Seeking Pitches for “Rituals for Dead Games”

Summoning Circle Press (SCP), a queer-run cooperative zine publisher, is seeking pitches of “new, small games or rituals that address the grief of a ‘Dead Game.’” A Dead Game could be “one that concluded after years with a grand finale, one that got unceremoniously cancelled in the middle, or one that never got past the world building phase.” Rate is $100 for a game/ritual (500 words). Narratively is a media company that publishes original and untold human stories. They’re issuing a new call for pitches, “My Secret Obsession”, in which they’re seeking compelling stories (3,000 to 6,000 words) about “real people with secret obsessions or unconventional infatuations.” These can be first-person pieces or reported stories. Intervenxions is Accepting Pitches on U.S. Latinx Realities

Intervenxions is a publication of the Latinx Project at New York University committed to “exploring contemporary Latinx art, politics, and culture.” They’re accepting pitches on U.S. Latinx realities. They’re seeking “cultural criticism, interviews, and reviews of literature, film, performance, visual art, or any discipline.” Rates begin at $300 for 1,000 to 2,500 words. Trails is Seeking Pitches for Issues 10 and 11

Trails is a quarterly, print-only magazine for “the backpacking and trail community.” They cover backpacking and other human or naturally-powered means of sleeping outdoors e.g. bikepacking, canoe camping, and even rafting or mountaineering. They’re seeking pitches for Issues 10 and 11. They give each issue a “thread”:
