Fortunately is “a post-capitalist lifestyle magazine that explores the intersections of art, culture, and solidarity economies.” They’re accepting pitches for Issue 2: FAIR. Litworth is Seeking an Experienced Freelance Writer to Write a Course on a Topic Related to Freelance Writing

Litworth is currently seeking experienced freelance writers to write a course for aspiring freelance writers. The topic can be any topic related to launching or growing a successful freelance writing career. However, they already have an introductory course on pitching. Possible topics include travel writing, finding business writing / copywriting clients, setting and negotiating rates, and more. The course should be 5 to 15 lessons. Maisonneuve is a Montreal-based quarterly of “arts, opinion and ideas.” They’re seeking pitches for their summer issue. They’re looking for “well-researched, narrative-driven stories that balance a sense of storytelling with thoughtful analysis; a strong point of view, argument or ‘so what’ principle; lyrical, literary scene-setting that draws the reader in.” They pay 0.15/word for long-form writing. Final Gravity is a beer zine. They’re seeking story pitches from freelance writers and folks in the beer industry. They pay $125 to $175 for short pieces (500 to 800 words); $175 to $250 for short features (800 to 1,400 words); $225 to $300 for longer features (over 1,400 words); $100 for art features; and $50 for poems.
