Arizona State University is hosting a short story contest on the topic of climate change. The grand prize is $1,000. The deadline for submission is January 15, 2016.
The stories should “envision the future of Earth and humanity as impacted by climate change.” The story should be no more than 5,000 words in length.
15 winning stories will be selected to be published in an online anthology of climate fiction. The first place winner will receive $1,000. 3 runners up will receive a book signed by Paolo Bacigalupi (He wrote the Windup Girl, one of my favorite books from recent years.)
