- Model Railroader is monthly magazine about model trains and model railroad layouts. They accept “articles on all aspects of model railroading and on prototype (real) railroading as a subject for modeling.” Most of their articles are “one-third text and two-thirds photos or illustrations.” They pay $75 to $100 per printed page (including photos and drawings). - Grok Nation is an online community founded by Mayim Bialik (an actress and a neuroscientist). They allow people to dive deep into conversations about contemporary issues. - Trapper’s World magazine is “owned, edited, and written for trappers by trappers.” They consider all types of material for their magazine, ranging from feature length articles to poetry and short stories. Feature length articles can be up to 5,000 words long and should include a minimum of 3 clear photographs. Usually, feature articles tell a story about a specific trapline adventure. - Creation Illustrated is a quarterly published Christian nature magazine which focuses on worshiping the Creator. Many of their features have a seasonal focus. They pay $75 to $100 per piece. - SAD Mag is a print and online magazine that covers Vancouver’s independent arts and culture from the point of view of local writers and artists. Most of their accepted pitches are from contributors based in the Lower Mainland or are submissions about the region. - Adventure Motorcycle showcases “courageous people on inspiring rides around the world.” They profile riders, publish industry news, bike reviews, event reports, and DVD reviews.
