The Nonprofit Quarterly (NPQ) is a nonprofit print and digital magazine that educates the nonprofit sector through research-based articles and resources. They’re seeking articles, creative writing, and art for their Spring 2025 Racial Justice Issue. International Journalists’ Network (IJNet) offers the latest tips, training opportunities, trends, and tools for professional and emerging journalists. The Revelator is Accepting Pitches
The Revelator provides “reporting, analysis and stories about conservation, endangered species, climate change and the future of the planet.” They’re accepting pitches from freelance journalists. Given the recent election, their primary focus in the first quarter of the next year will be stories set in the US along three major themes:
– “What we’re losing: Stories about species, ecosystems, environmental justice communities, climate battles, or other aspects of life on Earth at risk.”
– “What we’re saving: How people are working to understand, stabilize, or reverse a major threat.”
