The Association for Progressive Communications (APC) is “a worldwide network supporting the use of internet and ICTs for social justice and sustainable development.” Their Safety for Voices initiative is seeking 20 women human rights defenders (WHRDs) to contribute “personal essays and stories to the anthology focused on documenting and highlighting their resilience, challenges, and triumphs in the face of threats from state and societal actors.” They will pay each contributor $300 to $600.
