L.A. Times: $300 for Love Stories

The Los Angeles Times is currently accepting submissions for their L.A. Affairs column. They want stories about finding romance in Southern California.

They want stories set in the present day, with clear arc, and a strong sense of place.

They pay $300 per published stories. Each story should be 800-900 words.

According to their website:

“L.A. Affairs is our Los Angeles Times column about the current dating scene in and around Los Angeles — and finding romance in a wired world. If you’ve got a story to tell, we want to hear it. We pay $300 per published column.”

To learn more, be sure to read their full submission guidelines.

If you are interested, but don’t have a story set in Southern California, be sure to consider submitting to Modern Love.
